Does the MX-M Microplate Mixer accept other styles of microplates?
Yes. Any plates that have the same size / shape as 96-well plates (384-well plates, 1586-well plates, 24-well plates, etc.) can be used.
Does the MX-M accept deep well microplates? Does it accept unskirted or semi-skirted plates?
The MX-M does accept deep well plates.
It has not been tested with semi-skirted microplates.
Unskirted plates would not be suitable for use with the MX-M microplate mixer.
I need to achieve a specific RPM. Is this possible with the Scilogex MX-M Microplate Mixer?
MX-M Microplate Mixer does not have digital speed controls and the analog knob does not have demarcations denoting specific speeds. If you need a microplate mixer that can be set to a specific RPM, we recommend getting one with digital controls.
